Donna Lanni, BS, E-RYT 500, AYS
Certified Breathwork Facilitator • Plant Medicine Integration Coach • Ayurvedic Counselor • Yoga Teacher & Teacher Trainer

My path to healing and wellness has been shaped by more than four decades of professional practice, extensive training in mind-body modalities, and a lifetime of personal growth and transformation.
I am a certified Elemental Rhythm Breathwork Facilitator and Plant Medicine Integration Coach, an Ayurvedic counselor, and an experienced yoga teacher and teacher trainer. I hold a 500-hour E-RYT in Prana Vinyasa Yoga, a 500-hour Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist certification, and a 100-hour Yoga Meets Dance certification. I am also a longtime martial artist, holding a 4th Dan in Shudokan Karate and a black sash in Five Animal Kung Fu.
Before this chapter of my life, I spent 43 years practicing dental hygiene and built and operated Heart Stream Yoga. These experiences gave me a deep appreciation for both professional care and the many different ways we can support our physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
My work is also deeply personal. I have spent much of my life exploring and healing the effects of childhood and generational trauma, depression, addiction and codependency. Yoga, Ayurveda, breathwork, martial arts, counseling and 12-Step programs each became important parts of that journey. Later, my experiences with traditional plant and animal medicines—including ayahuasca, psilocybin, kambo and bufo—opened another profound chapter of self-discovery and healing.
That journey eventually brought me from my longtime home in Alaska to Costa Rica, where I studied and participated in traditional medicine practices under the guidance of experienced Indigenous and contemporary teachers. Through this work, I developed a deeper understanding of preparation, ceremony and, perhaps most importantly, integration—the process of bringing meaningful insights back into everyday life.
My life experience is as important to me as my formal training. I am a mother of two grown sons, have been a stepparent to five more children, and am now a grandmother. I have experienced marriage and divorce, single motherhood, loss, major life transitions and starting over. These experiences have shaped the compassion and perspective I bring to the people I work with.
Today, I call Sámara, Costa Rica home. Here I created Casa Giving Tree, a peaceful, private space surrounded by nature where I offer breathwork, yoga, Ayurveda, integration work, spiritual guidance and personalized wellness experiences.
My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful transformation is deeply personal. I don't believe there is one path that works for everyone. My role is to create a supportive, intentional space where you can slow down, listen inward, explore what is arising and reconnect with yourself.
I continue to be a student of life and of the practices I share. Casa Giving Tree is an extension of that journey, and I welcome those who feel called to experience it.
